SODA Review Vol.2 is the second edition of the studio’s Review publication, created as a platform to celebrate design, creativity and resilience during a period of significant change for creative industries. Published in 2021, the issue brings together SODA’s own work with interviews and profiles from a wider network of designers, artists and creative practitioners.

The publication centres on the evolving identity of Soho, the studio’s home and the setting for many of its projects. Through features on places such as Boulevard Theatre and Liberty House, the review explores how the area continues to retain its distinctive character while adapting to social, cultural and economic pressures. Photography plays a significant role throughout, with contributions from creatives including Liam Wong and Ari Gurdon Lindey, whose work captures urban atmosphere and the daily life of Soho.

Alongside project stories, the issue features highlights emerging and underrepresented creative voices, including Duzi Studio, Amber Weaver and Ahmed Abokor. Together, these contributions position the publication as both a reflection on SODA’s work and a wider celebration of creative community, collaboration and resilience.
