SODA Review Vol.1 is the inaugural edition of the studio's publication, created to celebrate its first five years and establish a platform for sharing the ideas, processes and collaborations that shape the practice. Conceived as an exploration of design thinking rather than a portfolio, the publication introduces SODA's multidisciplinary approach, examining the crossover between architecture, interiors, branding and graphic design through the lens of experimentation, strategic thinking and creative process.

Alongside a selection of completed and ongoing projects, including Thomas House, Silver Building, Compton Courtyard and the transformation of Walker's Court, the publication reveals the stories behind the work through photography, interviews and essays. A photographic series documents the beauty of derelict buildings and construction sites before transformation, while conversations with collaborators including neon collector Marcus Bracey of God's Own Junkyard and photographer Lewis Khan offer wider perspectives on creativity and making. The 'Life and Soul' feature explores the relationship between people and place from those who inhabit SODA's projects.

Through project features, branding work and behind-the-scenes content, SODA Review Vol. 1 establishes the philosophy and collaborative culture that continue to define the studio. More than a record of completed work, it celebrates curiosity, experimentation and the belief that the strongest ideas emerge through process, collaboration and a willingness to look beyond conventional boundaries.
