Developed alongside the wider transformation of Sierra Quebec Bravo, the visual identity extends the architectural concept into a graphic language that unites branding, wayfinding and the workplace environment. Inspired by the building's waterfront location on the Isle of Dogs, the identity draws on the dazzle camouflage patterns once used on ships navigating the nearby docks, reinterpreting this historic visual language for a contemporary workplace.
The distinctive pattern becomes the project's defining graphic device, appearing across the entrance sequence, internal glazing and environmental graphics. Applied at varying densities, it responds to different levels of privacy, allowing enclosed meeting rooms and workspaces to maintain visual connection while subtly screening activity. This adaptable system creates rhythm and consistency balancing openness with moments of enclosure.
Beyond wayfinding, the identity is woven into the everyday experience of the workplace. Planning for a 50 meter high mural, a “two fingers up” to the neighbouring Canary Wharf, was achieved and graphic elements animate communal spaces, reinforcing the building's playful and expressive character. By integrating branding directly into the architecture and interiors, the project establishes a recognisable identity that reflects Sierra Quebec Bravo's alternative approach to workspace design while celebrating the site's maritime heritage.
