Created alongside the wider transformation of Liberty House for The Office Group, the visual identity forms part of a holistic design approach spanning architecture, interiors and branding. Occupying a listed Regency building with historic links to Liberty London, the project draws on the rich retail heritage of the West End to create a distinctive workplace identity rooted in location.
The design language takes inspiration from two closely connected influences: the world-renowned Liberty department store and the architectural character of Liberty House itself. Colour palettes were informed by Liberty’s iconic textiles and floral prints, while graphic patterns evolved from the Liberty logo and were adapted into a series of contemporary icons used throughout the project. Scalloped detailing, layered textures and handcrafted elements reference the craftsmanship associated with Liberty, creating a visual identity that bridges fashion, retail and workplace design.
The identity extends beyond traditional branding applications and is woven throughout the building as part of the wider spatial experience. Patterns appear across signage, joinery, worktops and architectural surfaces, creating a cohesive relationship between graphics and interiors. The branding reinforces Liberty House’s connection to its historic setting while establishing a distinctive and contemporary identity for a new generation of flexible workspace.
